Q: I'm not photogenic, can i really look this good?
A: Absolutely! Leave it to the professionals dear, we've got you covered. Plus you are under no obligation to buy the portraits, so what do you have to lose?
Q: I feel so AWKWARD in front of a camera, will you help me with posing?
A: Yes! Yes! Yes! In fact I don't want you to try posing for yourself! I'm a control freak and have to pose you right down to your pinky finger. So relax and know you do not need to perform for me. I will adjust you rignt down to the breath you take and when you take it. You will feel safe and comfortable and enjoy yourself.
Q: I feel so anxious about being photographed!
A: I've seen every sort of client in front of the camera over the years, but do you know the one thing they all have in common? They ALL have stunning portraits at the end. It may take a little longer for you to relax, but I guarantee you will LOVE your portraits and if you don't? Well, you don't have to buy any! So you've got nothing to worry about!
Q: I don't know what to do with my portraits - what do you recommend?
A: These portraits are going to look so stunning you are going to want to share them with everyone! Definitely at least one wall art image because that is what you will walk by and see everyday. Our folio boxes are awesome, because it is like having an album with pages that you can pull out and rotate the display so you can highlight different images around your home. Of course you can use them in social media and even be used for portraits in your business - the opportunities abound!
Q: Do you photograph women in intimate apparel - like a boudoir shoot?
A: Absolutely! Why not? We offer boudoir portraits and Natasha will talk with you ahead of time to answer any of your questions and help style your session.
Q: how long does the session take?
A: We are a service oriented studio, which means you will never feel rushed during your time with us. We only book one portrait session on any given day, so we will not be rushing you out the door. Most sessions start with hair and make up at 10:00 am, that takes about 90 minutes, followed by your portrait session which lasts about 2 hours. Our recommendation is to set aside the day so that you can really enjoy the experience and not feel rushed at all. Also, remember you are going to look gorgeous when you leave the studio, so it is well worth planning an evening out afterwards! For more info on preparing for your session and the session itself, download our free "Beautifully You" Planner, it is packed full of information about your experience with our studio.
Q: What happens after the portrait session?
A: Your portraits are masterfully edited and prepared for you to the highest standards. We do not rush this part as it is considered a very important stage of the stunning images you will own after your session. About 2 weeks after your session you will come back to the studio and enjoy a portrait reveal and order session. This is probably more fun and exciting than the actual portrait session! This is also the time you will place your order for the portraits you would like and we order your products for you.
Q: Can i bring someone to the session with me and we both have some portraits?
A: For beauty portraits, yes! We love this type of session as it adds so much meaning and depth to the portraits when we show love connections - be it friend or family. We still want to get plenty of individual photos too, so it is fun to mix it up a little with the poses. Generally one person is photographed while the other is in hair and make up and then we switch and then we do more portraits with the two of you. Sometimes you may want to include your children and / or husband. Mother / daughter sessions are also very popular. Best friend shoots can be fun too if you want to split the cost with a friend. Contact us with your questions or download and receive immediately our free "Beautifully You" Planner for more info on this exciting option. Please contact us if your needs are different - maybe you would like a session with 3 or more people, we can help you with this, just let us know! Boudoir sessions are always photographed individually as they are more intimate in nature and are much more suited to being photographed alone.
Q: THis sounds awesome! how much do you charge?
Q: I love your work but i am worried you will be too expensive for my budget
A: We put a lot of time and energy into each one of our clients so that they receive STUNNING portraits they absolutely LOVE and we give it to them in an equally beautiful presentation of wall art and folios, so yes, this does come at a certain price point. However, we also understand and work to make it as accessible as possible to whomever would love a portrait session. With this in mind, we do offer payment plans that can be worked out to suit your individual needs. Feel free to contact us so that we can chat with us about this at any time.
