Don’t you worry, lovely lady! I’ve got your back! I will talk you through every single movement within a pose. I teach you exactly what to do with your face, where to put your hands, where to look, when to arch - I pose everything all the way down to how you breathe! It’s just us in the room, so if you feel silly the first few times, who cares!? Music will be playing, we will be chatting away and you’ll totally forget feeling awkward! Be brave, you can do this!
-
My dear, that is totally normal! In fact, I might be a little worried if you weren’t nervous. Being nervous means you aren’t numb to new experiences. By far, the most nerve-wracking part of this is walking in the door for your appointment. After you conquer that, it’s an easy-going, super fun experience!
-
You are totally welcome to bring a female friend to the hair/makeup portion of your shoot, but they won’t be allowed to watch your actual shoot. Even if they are your best, best friend - you will hold back if someone you know is watching you pose. My main focus is making sure that you have an incredibly comfortable environment to be yourself in, so I want it to be a private session where you are being photographed feeling completely at ease.
-
Normally, around 90-120 minutes. The more outfits you wear, the longer the session. With hair and makeup, expect to be here for up to 4 hours - possibly more. My advice would be to keep your schedule open and alert me if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. Sessions start at 9:30 or 10am and you are normally leaving around 2-3pm. You will never feel rushed! Remember your hair and makeup will be all done, so it is the perfect time to plan a fun night out afterwards!
-
To begin with there will be the hair and makeup artist, myself and you. After your hair and makeup is complete, the HMUA will leave and then it is just you and I. I keep the sessions private so that you are completely comfortable. I do not want you to feel rushed or that my attention is elsewhere. You are the only portrait session I book for the day, so you will have my full attention to create the most stunning portraits you have ever seen of yourself!
-
Turnaround time is around 1 week depending on our schedules. You will come back or have a Zoom portrait reveal. This is where purchase your product as well.
-
You are allowed one reschedule, as long as I am given a minimum of 7 days notice, preferably at least 14 days notice, or if there is a verifiable emergency. The earlier you can reschedule, the better. Please be considerate of myself and my hair and makeup artist who has blocked off time to do your session and may not be able to fill that time slot with short notice.
-
The turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks. If you need it faster, please let me know and I will see what I can do.
-
If you have never done it before, please do NOT get waxed. We have no way to know how your skin will react, and to have a full-on breakout would be less than ideal. So stick to shaving unless you have waxed before.
-
It is not necessary, but if you are used to being tanned and would like some additional color, you can go ahead and get a spray tan. I only recommend that it is a high quality application - hand applied by a professional tan expert. Streaks and uneven color will show in your portraits if it is not applied well.

Yes, we offer payment plans. If you have not already, feel free to ask about the pre-payment option. We can set up a payment schedule to suit your needs. This allows you to make payments either in advance of your session or after your portrait reveal. If you are setting up a payment plan after your portrait reveal, we ask that a 25% deposit is paid upfront. Pre-payments are non-refundable, but they can always be applied to product purchases in the future.
